Terengganu's Sultan Mizan presides over 271st Conference of Rulers meeting


KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultan of Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, has presided over the 271st Conference of Rulers Meeting at Istana Negara.

In attendance were Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah of Selangor, Sultan Nazrin Shah of Perak, Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah of Kedah, Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail and Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir.

Also present were Tengku Mahkota of Kelantan Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra, Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Sultan Ibrahim and Pahang's Tengku Arif Bendahara Tengku Muhammad Iskandar Ri'ayatuddin Shah.

The meeting was also attended by the four state governors, namely Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar of Sarawak, Tun Musa Aman of Sabah, Tun Dr Mohd Ali Rustam of Melaka and Tun Ramli Ngah Talib of Penang.

State Mentris Besar, Chief Ministers and the Deputy Premier of Sarawak were also present.

On Tuesday (Feb 10), His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, attended the pre-council meeting of the Conference of Rulers at Istana Negara.

The last meeting of the Conference of Rulers was held on Oct 8, 2025, chaired by Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin. – Bernama
