Investigations into S'gor shootings have led to positive results, says state police chief

SHAH ALAM: The probe into shooting cases in Selangor is ongoing with investigations identifying several "positive" signs, says Comm Datuk Shazeli Kahar.

The Selangor police chief, at a press conference at the contingent police headquarters here, said that investigations were still active.

"We are working closely with Bukit Aman and operations are still ongoing hence why I cannot go into exact details.

"However, what I can say is that these operations have led to positive results and signs," he said.

Comm Shazeli, when asked if the shootings were related to the organised crime group known as "Captain Praba", refused to elaborate.

On Jan 4, a local man was shot dead at a restaurant in the Banting area. Not long after on Jan 7, another man, 43, was killed in a shooting in Taman Wangsa.
