KUALA LUMPUR: Two men have been detained on suspicion of being involved in unnatural sex inside a vehicle at Taman Intan Baiduri here.
Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari said the incident occurred at about 2am on Friday when a crime prevention patrol team noticed a parked vehicle.
“Upon inspection, the patrol team found two men inside the vehicle.
“They are believed to have behaved indecently in a public place,” he said in a statement.
A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a piece of tissue paper believed to contain bodily fluids on the rear seat floor, he said.
“Both suspects have no criminal record. They were arrested and taken to the Jinjang police station for further investigation,” added ACP Ahmad Sukarno.
The suspects, aged 24 and 29, work as a supermarket sales assistant and a mobile phone salesman respectively.
“During initial investigations, one of the suspects admitted to committing a sexual act on the other person inside the vehicle,” he added.
Both men are being investigated under Section 377A of the Penal Code and have been released on police bail.
