Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Fadil Marsus said the police had received a report on the matter on Saturday (Jan 31).

He said the report was lodged by a 35-year-old man at a police station in the capital at 6.11pm.

“Police confirm that a report related to an alleged case of unnatural sex acts was received on Jan 31.”

“The case is currently under investigation,” he said in a statement on Sunday (Feb 1).

Earlier, the actor had shared a statement on social media, alleging that he was a victim of such acts as a child, involving an older individual who was said to hold a position of authority and have a familial relationship with him.

According to the actor, the disclosure was made to raise awareness and help protect other victims who may have experienced similar incidents.
