APAD building database of bus, lorry operators to avoid high-risk drivers

KOTA BARU: The Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) is developing a database to collect records and information on over 60,000 bus and lorry company operators in an effort to strengthen the country's transportation services.

Its deputy director-general (operations) Masita Mat Isa said the system is expected to be launched in the first quarter of next year after the government finalises the allocation procurement.
