Ahmad Selihin named new director of Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department


KUCHING: The Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) has a new director, Ahmad Selihin Che Said, who will begin his duties effective Thursday (Jan 15).

Ahmad Selihin received the handover of duty from his predecessor, Datuk Awang Mohammad Fadillah Awang Redzuan, on Wednesday (Jan 14).

The ceremony was attended by the permanent secretary of the state's Utility and Telecommunication Ministry, Datuk Jafri Lias.

In his brief remarks, Jafri thanked Awang Mohd Fadillah for his service and contributions as the JBALB director since his appointment on Jan 2, 2024.

Ahmad Selihin previously served as the department's deputy director of operations.

Meanwhile, Awang Mohd Fadillah will assume his new role as director of the state Economic Planning Unit.
