Bukit Aman NCID deputy director among six senior police officers involved in transfers


PETALING JAYA: The Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) deputy director is among six senior police officers involved in transfers effective Feb 9.

Police force secretary Deputy Comm Abdul Rahman Kassim said Senior Asst Comm Datuk Mohd Zaki Ashar has been transferred from his role as the NCID deputy director to head the Wildlife Crime Bureau/Intelligence and Special Investigation.

"SAC Zairulnizam Mohd Zainuddin @ Hilmi, who previously held the position of Commander of the Wildlife Crime Bureau/Intelligence and Special Investigation, has been appointed as the NCID deputy director," he said in a statement on Saturday (Jan 10).

The transfers also involve Asst Comm Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari, who is transferred to the Secretariat of the Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (JPJKK) from previously being Sentul OCPD.

"ACP Basri Sagoni has been appointed as the new Sentul OCPD while ACP Rahiman Abdullah @ Yacob is the new Bukit Aman Management department assistant director.

"ACP Gurbinder Singh Mann has been appointed as the new Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) assistant director (Investigation of Forgery/Property Fraud)," he added.
