PETALING JAYA: Several areas of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur are experiencing an electricity supply disruption.

A Tenaga Nasional Bhd spokesman said restoration works are ongoing.

"A technical team is at the locations to conduct works to restore the electricity supply," the spokesman said on the TNB CareLine Facebook page on Monday (Dec 15).

"Your patience is appreciated, and any trouble caused is regrettable.

"We advise people to be careful when handling electrical appliances, especially during a disruption, as electricity could be restored at any time," the spokesman added.

A check on TNB's website showed that the affected areas included Rawang and parts of Petaling Jaya.

The disruption occurred at about 11.30am.
