Brothers killed after motorcycle crashes into guardrail on NSE


SEREMBAN: Two brothers were killed when their motorcycle crashed into the guardrail along KM266.8 of the southbound lane of the North-South Expressway near here.

Seremban OCPD Asst Comm Azahar Abdul Rahim said the incident happened at about 7.30am on Saturday (Dec 6).

Muhammad Aidil Danial, 22, and Muhammad Nabil Akmal, 18, were killed on the spot in the crash.

"The brothers were believed to have been heading to Melaka from Klang when the incident took place.

"We believe the older brother who was riding the bike, lost control and crashed," he said in a statement.

ACP Azahar said the victims' remains were later sent to the Rembau Hospital for postmortem.

He urged eyewitnesses to contact investigating officer Insp Nor Fadzilah Mohd Zainuddin at 019 4611 794 to assist in investigations.

The case is being probed under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
