Fuel prices Nov 27 - Dec 3: RON97, RON95 and diesel down 2sen


KUALA LUMPUR: The retail prices of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia and RON97 petrol will decrease by 2sen from Nov 27 to Dec 3.

The Finance Ministry, in a statement Wednesday (Nov 26) said the retail price of diesel will decrease to RM3.08 per litre in Peninsular Malaysia and remain at RM2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan over the same period.

It added that the price of RON97 petrol would be decreased to RM3.26 per litre nationwide.

It said that the price of unsubsidised RON95 petrol would also be decreased by 2sen at RM2.63 a litre, while the price for BUDI95 subsidised RON95 would be maintained at RM1.99 a litre.

It said the prices were set based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism formula.

"The Government will continue monitoring global oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure people’s welfare remains intact," it added.
