Central Perak OCPD Supt Hafezul Helmi Hamzah said all suspects were nabbed at about 9pm on Nov 9, following a report lodged by a homeowner who returned from holiday to find the house ransacked.

"Among the missing items were four gold necklaces, five gold chains, four gold bracelets, 12 gold rings, two pairs of gold earrings, five gold dinar coins, five mobile phones and about RM2,000 in cash.

"The total loss, including cash and stolen jewellery, is estimated at RM70,000,” he said in a statement.

Supt Hafezul Helmi added that police also seized items believed to be proceeds from the sale of stolen goods, including RM7,700 in cash, nine mobile phones, five motorcycles, two gold bars weighing 15g, and a Proton Waja.

He said six investigation papers have been referred to the Deputy Public Prosecutor, and all six received instructions to prosecute.- Bernama
