MetMalaysia warns of bad weather in four states, one FT, until 1am (Nov 21)


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has warned of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in several states until 1am on Friday (Nov 21).

In a statement at 8.40pm on Thursday (Nov 20), MetMalaysia said the states affected are Pahang (Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Bera, Pekan and Rompin); Johor (Segamat, Mersing and Kota Tinggi); and the Federal Territories of Labuan.

It also warned of bad weather in Sabah, affecting the Interior, West Coast, Tawau (Tawau) and Sandakan (Telupid, Beluran and Sandakan); and Sarawak, affecting Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Betong (Pusa, Saratok and Kabong), Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit (Song and Kapit), Bintulu, Miri (Telang Usan) and Limbang (Lawas).
