Sarawak Yang di-Pertua Negeri pays last respects to Puan Sri Lim Su Kheng

KUCHING: Sarawak Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi paid their last respects to the late Puan Sri Lim Su Kheng at the family home here on Tuesday (Nov 18).

Lim, the mother of Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, passed away on Monday (Nov 17) evening. She was 83.

Wan Junaidi and Fauziah were received by Dr Sim, his wife Datuk Enn Ong, brother Sim Kui Lian and sons Eason and Simson when they arrived at 11.15am.

They conveyed condolences and words of comfort to the Deputy Premier and his family.

The Head of State was among many visitors and members of the public who came to pay their last respects.

Dr Sim said his family was deeply touched by the many condolence messages and steady stream of visitors.

"Your kindness from every corner of the community has given us solace during this time," he said in a Facebook post.
