Salesman dies after car plunges off hillside on NSE


SEREMBAN: A salesman has been killed after the car he was driving plunged down a hillside at KM267.1 of the North-South Expressway.

Seremban police chief ACP Azahar Abdul Rahim said the mishap occurred at about 10.30am on Friday (Nov 14) when the 22-year-old victim was travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Melaka.

"The driver is believed to have skidded and hit the left guardrail before his car plunged down a 60m high hillside," he said in a statement on Friday.

The victim was confirmed dead at the scene and the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. – Bernama
