Slight increase in number of flood victims in Kedah


ALOR SETAR: The number of flood victims in Kedah has increased slightly on Saturday (Nov 8), following the evacuation of 17 people from six families from the Kuala Muda district, compared to 10 victims on Friday.

According to the Kedah Disaster Management Committee, all the flood victims are accommodated at the Kampung Bukit Belah Community Hall, which opened at noon on Friday.

Meanwhile, according to the official Public Infobanjir website, Sungai Titi Kerbau near Pendang has exceeded the warning level of 4.62m, while Sungai Laka near Kubang Pasu has exceeded the warning level (21.55m). – Bernama
