SHE was upset with her husband who had not been working, apparently due to fat deposits in his body that needed treatment.
The woman, identified only as Mahaletchumi, had been having arguments with her husband Palanivelu, 55, over this and inadvertently killed him one day, Malaysia Nanban reported.
Mahaletchumi, 43, has since been arrested for the murder of Palanivelu, who used to be a house painter in Tamil Nadu.
The crime was unearthed when Palanivelu’s sister Kaviri became concerned as she had not seen him for a few days and was unable to reach him.
Kaviri eventually filed a police report.
When questioned by police, Mahaletchumi admitted that she had hit him during an argument, causing him to accidentally fall and die.
Not knowing what to do, she dug a hole near the outhouse and buried him with the help of their two daughters aged 20 and 25.
Police excavated the site and recovered a decomposing body which was confirmed to be Palanivelu by the coroner.
The mother and daughters were arrested.
