ROCK band Spider delivered an unforgettable night for more than 4,000 fans during their Spider Unplugged concert on Oct 25 at Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur, reported Harian Metro.
The show marked the band’s first-ever unplugged performance, celebrating over two decades in Malaysia’s music industry.
Opening with Rasakan Resapkan, Spider kept the crowd entertained with a line-up of timeless hits including Relaku Pujuk, Kasih Latifah, Kau Saja and Sumpah Tak Buat Lagi.
The band also introduced a new track, Sungguh Ku Telah Jatuh Cinta, which Tam, the band’s vocalist and guitarist, dedicated to his Indonesian foster family, wife and fans. Adding to the night’s significance was a video message from singer Datuk M. Nasir, a respected mentor and an influential figure in shaping Spider’s musical journey.
“Their persistence in creating music on their own terms is something few would expect, but it reflects Spider’s courage to face challenges and prove their artistry in the industry.
“In the world of rock, true mastery is only achieved when you can perform just as powerfully in an acoustic setting,” he said.
