PM Anwar to attend national Deepavali Madani open house on Oct 18


KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to attend the national-level Deepavali Madani open house 2025, which will be held next Saturday (Oct 18) at Lot F, KL Sentral here.

Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo said the event, which will take place from 10am to 2pm, is open to all to celebrate Deepavali in the spirit of unity and harmony.

"This celebration is an opportunity for all of us to come together as one big Malaysian Madani family. I invite everyone to join us in making this year’s Deepavali Madani celebration a joyous occasion,” he said.

He told Bernama this after attending the ‘Ministers’ Forum: Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Future Workforce’ held in conjunction with the International Young Future Leaders Summit (iFuture) 2025, which also featured Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.

Gobind said the presence of the Prime Minister would further enliven the celebration, which symbolises the nation’s unity and inclusivity.
