PETALING JAYA: Those hoping to be part of the action at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) can now submit applications to join its volunteer team.
The application form is available on SIC's official website and requires applicants to provide personal information, contact details, residential address and relevant volunteering experience.
Applicants are also asked whether they have previously volunteered at the circuit and to provide details of their availability and areas of interest.
SIC said it would respond to applicants after receiving completed forms.
The call comes as Malaysia prepares to host the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix at SIC from Oct 2 to 4.
Formula One and the International Automobile Federation confirmed on Sunday (July 26) that Malaysia would join the 2026 calendar as the host venue for the Bahrain Grand Prix.
The event is subject to final agreements and official approval, including endorsement by the FIA World Motor Sport Council.
It will be held from Oct 2 to 4, taking place between the Azerbaijan and Singapore Grands Prix.
The race will mark Formula One's return to Sepang, which last hosted a Grand Prix in 2017.
Applications may be submitted through the volunteer application section on SIC's official website.
