Qabil tops Moto4 Asia Cup Race 1 at Sepang

SEPANG: National rider Qabil Irfan delivered a sensational ride after clinching the Moto4 Asia Cup Race 1 win at the Sepang International Circuit on Saturday (Oct 31).

The 14-year-old, who missed out on the past two race weekends due to a double fracture in his left leg, showed he can bounce back in style to take the race win, finishing ahead of Indonesia’s Bintang Pranata.

Malaysia celebrated a double podium finish after Qayyim Razin came in third place.

Qabil celebrated his first win in the championship this season after finishing third in both races during the second round at Sepang in August.

Qayyim returned to the podium on home soil after he won both the races at Sepang in the second round.
