State polls marks time to usher in new political era, says Sabah DAP

KOTA KINABALU: The coming Sabah elections marks the right moment to usher in a new political era and a fresh political landscape for the state, says Sabah DAP.

Its chairman Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe said it is time for the younger generation to take on greater roles.

He said that in the event of a hung assembly, DAP would prioritise progressive policy cooperation with other parties.

"Only DAP has a team of capable, experienced and visionary young leaders ready to inject fresh hope into Sabah's future," he said on the party's possible candidates on Monday (Oct 6).

He added that Sabah DAP's record at both federal and state levels proves that the party delivers results.

Phoong cited the upgraded Tawau and Kota Kinabalu airports, Kota Kinabalu public bus system and Sabah's employment rate and investment performance as examples.
