Lorry driver killed in early morning crash on Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway


GOMBAK: A lorry driver was killed when his vehicle hit a road divider on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway.

In a statement on Monday (Oct 6), Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir said that the incident occurred on Oct 6 at around 5.30am.

At the time, the 28-year-old driver was driving his lorry along KM 27.8 of the expressway when he suddenly lost control of his vehicle, causing him to crash into a road divider.

The lorry then overturned and caught fire. The crash resulted in the driver's death.

"The body has been sent to the Selayang Hospital for further action," he said.
