PUTRAJAYA: All schools in Johor, Melaka and Negri Sembilan will be closed today, Oct 14, due to the haze situation affecting the country.
Education Minister Datuk Seri Fadhlina Sidek said the closure also extends to schools in several districts across Selangor, Pahang, Sabah and Sarawak.
In Selangor, the affected schools fall under Hulu Langat and Sepang District Education Offices (PPD), while in Pahang, the closure covers Kuantan, Pekan, and Rompin districts.
In Sabah, the closure involves schools under Tawau District Education Office, whereas in Sarawak, it affects Serian, Sri Aman, and Lubok Antu districts, Bernama reported.
“Schools in all other states and districts will operate as usual,” Fadhlina said in a Facebook post yesterday.
