Mah Sing’s M Grand Minori celebrates strong buyer response in Johor

Johor homebuyers are big winners of Mah Sing’s 30th Anniversary campaign, winning Tesla, BYD and cash prizes.

JOHOR BARU: Mah Sing Group Bhd held a celebratory event at its M Grand Minori Sales Gallery in Taman Pelangi over the weekend with signing of Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) of the project and prize giving ceremony for its 30th Anniversary Giveaway campaign.

The event underscored the strong demand for M Grand Minori, Mah Sing’s first premium project under the M Grand Series, with SPA signings reflecting sustained buyer confidence since its launch in August.

A key driver of this success has been the purpose-built on-site sales gallery, designed around customer needs.

Open until 9pm. daily, the gallery caters to working professionals and cross-border commuters, many of whom have taken advantage of the extended evening hours to sign their SPAs after work.

Visitors were also able to tour three fully-furnished show units priced from RM390,000, explore detailed scale models and experience the project’s actual location firsthand.

This tangible connection has provided buyers with greater assurance of value, security, and long-term confidence, supported by ample parking and a seamless visitor experience.

The joyful weekend saw Johor homebuyers emerged as big winners of the group’s 30th Anniversary Giveaway.

Winners from Johor drove home the top two prizes of the campaign which were the Tesla Model 3, a BYD M6 and consolation cash prizes.

Mah Sing has upped the ante with its new campaign, offering RM1mil worth of prizes. Running until Dec 31, buyers stand a chance to win a brand new home, electronic gadgets, appliances, travel packages, staycations and exclusive experiences.

Mah Sing’s founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said, “Johor continues to be a cornerstone of Mah Sing’s growth, underpinned by strong market fundamentals and transformative projects like the RTS Link and Johor-Singapore SEZ.

“Developments such as M Grand Minori embody our vision of offering lifestyle-driven, well-connected homes that meet both homeowner aspirations and investor demand.

“At the same time, through our sales campaigns, we are rewarding buyers and creating a more engaging, memorable homeownership journey. We see immense long-term potential in Johor, and we will continue to explore opportunities to expand our landbank here.”

A key driver of interest in M Grand Minori is its location just 3km from the upcoming Bukit Chagar Rapid Transit System (RTS) Station, which will connect Johor Bahru directly to Singapore’s Woodlands North in under five minutes.

With the RTS set to be fully operational by late 2026 or early 2027, thousands of daily commuters are expected to benefit from the seamless, high-capacity cross-border travel.

The RTS is not the only catalyst. The recently launched Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) is expected to attract foreign investment and anchor multi-national companies in growth sectors such as electronics, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing and services.

Together, the RTS and SEZ are set to elevate Johor’s role as a regional hub, drawing both international capital, investors and a growing commuter population.

Mah Sing chief operating officer, James Lim said, “The encouraging turnout at the SPA signing for M Grand Minori affirms that Johor buyers value quality homes with strong connectivity and modern lifestyle features.

“Beyond just residences, M Grand Minori was designed as a community hub with retail, recreational and sustainable living elements to enrich daily life. Johor has always been one of our strongest markets and this weekend’s response is testament to the trust buyers have placed in Mah Sing’s track record.”

Phase 1 of M Grand Minori features a retail podium and two serviced apartment towers with built-ups ranging from 403 sq ft to 835 sq ft.

Buyers can select from studio, one-bedroom, one-plus-one, dual-key and three-bedroom units. Selected units come partially furnished, catering to move-in ready homeowners as well as investors and professionals seeking convenient, low-maintenance living spaces. These layouts have been designed with a broad buyer profile in mind, from first-time purchasers and upgraders to cross-border commuters looking for a city home near transport links.

Designed for modern city living, M Grand Minori offers 41 lifestyle facilities including an infinity pool, gym, co-working lounge, yoga deck, multipurpose hall and children play areas.

Sustainability is also central to its design, with features such as EV charging stations, rainwater harvesting, an automated waste collection system and an express car park ramp. The project is provisional GreenRE-certified and is well aligned with Mah Sing’s commitment to energy-efficient and environmentally responsible development.

Located in Taman Pelangi, M Grand Minori is surrounded by established amenities, schools, healthcare facilities, malls, and leisure attractions, all while being a short drive from Johor Baru Checkpoint and Larkin Sentral. Ground-floor commercial lots will further enhance convenience for residents, with curated offerings for F&B, clinics, childcare and daily essentials.

The M Grand Minori Sales Gallery is now open to the public in Taman Pelangi, Johor Baru. Operating from 9.30am to 9pm daily, the gallery allows prospective buyers to explore development concepts, show units and scale models on-site — and to sign their SPAs in the evenings after work.
