Autistic teen found wandering on Kesas Highway


SERDANG: A 14-year-old autistic boy has been found wandering alone along a motorcycle lane of a highway here.

Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Muhamad Farid Ahmad said that the boy was found along KM43.2 of the Kesas Highway at 9.13pm yesterday.

"The boy was then handed over to the Welfare Department for further action and shelter," he said in a statement on Saturday (Sept 20).

No identification paper was found on the boy, he added.

The teenager was found wearing a blue striped shirt and jeans.

Family members, next-of-kin or members of the public who recognise the boy are urged to contact the Puchong Jaya police station at 03- 80752222.
