KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in several places in Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak and Selangor until noon on Thursday (Sept 18).
In a statement issued at 9am today, MetMalaysia announced that bad weather is expected to affect areas in Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Padang Terap, Yan, Pendang, and Kuala Muda in Kedah.
In Perak, it is expected to affect the areas in Bagan Datuk and Hilir Perak, while in Selangor, it is expected to affect Sabak Bernam. - Bernama
