Nearly 800 illegals nabbed during special ops at Bukit Bintang

KUALA LUMPUR: Nearly 800 illegal immigrants were detained during a special operation by the Immigration Department at Jalan Bedara, Bukit Bintang on Tuesday (Sept 2) night.

Immigration Department Enforcement Division director Basri Othman said the integrated Ops Belanja operation, which was carried out from 7.30pm to 10.30pm, was in response to complaints from the public over the past three weeks.
