KUALA LUMPUR: The newly-passed Government Procurement Bill, which is expected to take effect early next year, will not lead to more powers for the Finance Minister, says Treasury secretary-general Datuk Johan Mahmood Merican (pic).
He explained that the powers of the Finance Minister are already outlined in the Financial Procedures Act.
