Govt's river sustainability efforts include 35 new trails nationwide, says ministry sec-gen


SHAH ALAM: A total of 35 national river trail programmes have been implemented nationwide this year as part of the government's efforts to safeguard river sustainability, the country's main source of water.

Energy Transition and Water Transformation Ministry secretary-general Datuk Mad Zaidi Mohd Karli said that the initiative aimed to foster a sense of ownership, raise community awareness, and encourage responsibility for river conservation while helping to reduce pollution.
