Cops yet to record statement from mother of three-year-old who died in fall


PETALING JAYA: Police have yet to record a statement from the mother of a child who fell to his death from the sixth floor of a condominium here as she is still in Perak for the victim's funeral.

However, statements have been recorded from two family members and a friend of the mother.

Statements will also be obtained from three neighbours who had heard some noises before the boy fell, says Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Shahrulnizam Ja'afar.

On Aug 21, a three-year-old boy died after falling to his death from the sixth floor of the apartment.
