Three-year-old boy dies after falling from sixth floor of Kota Damansara condo


PETALING JAYA: A three-year-old boy was killed after he is believed to have fallen from the sixth floor of a condominium here.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Shahrulnizam Ja'afar said police were notified of the incident on Aug 21.

"The police were informed of the incident which happened at a condominium in Kota Damansara. The body was found along a pathway by members of the public who then contacted the police.

"It is believed that the child fell from the sixth floor and was pronounced dead by medical officers at the scene," he said in a statement on Saturday (Aug 23).

It is known that the child was alone at home at the time of the incident.

"Investigations are being conducted under Section 31(1) (a) of the Child Act 2001 and investigations are still being conducted," he added.
