SEREMBAN: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has obtained a remand extension from the Magistrate's Court here on a broker suspected of using a land title with falsified details to obtain RM3.8mil, the proceeds of a land sale.

On Monday (Aug 11), Magistrate Nurul Saqinah Rosli allowed an application from the MACC to remand the suspect, in his 40s, for a further three days.

The suspect was initially under remand from Aug 5 until today.

He was detained on Aug 4 when he turned up at the MACC office here to give his statement on the matter.

The land, in Lenggeng near here, belonged to another individual.
