Remand extended for man who slashed ex-girlfriend at varsity

SUBANG JAYA: The remand for a man who attacked his ex-girlfriend at a private university has been extended to Monday (July 21).

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat confirmed the extension when contacted.

He added that the victim's condition is stable.

On Monday (July 14) the suspect, a 21-year-old foreigner, slashed his 20-year-old ex-girlfriend at the university, leading to her being rushed to the hospital.

The attack is believed to have stemmed from the suspect's unhappiness with comments made by the victim, claiming he had prevented her from leaving the home.
