Number of unemployed down 0.7% in May 2025, says stats dept


PUTRAJAYA: The number of unemployed declined further by 0.7% in May 2025 to 522,400 persons from 525,900 in April, according to the Statistics Department.

The Labour Force Statistics for May 2025 released by the department on Thursday (July 10) shows that the unemployment rate during the month remained at 3.0% as in April.
