Al-Sultan Abdullah, Tunku Azizah extend Maal Hijrah greetings to Muslims nationwide

KUANTAN: The Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Tengku Ampuan of Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah have extended Maal Hijrah greetings to Muslims in Pahang and across the country.

In a Facebook post Friday (June 27), Their Royal Highnesses described the Islamic New Year as a symbol of sacrifice, resilience, and a fresh start towards a better life.

"The Islamic New Year marks a significant moment in Islamic history. It is not merely a remembrance of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) migration from Makkah to Madinah, but holds a far deeper meaning," they said.

Their Highnesses called on Muslims to reflect on their lives and renew their commitment to becoming pious individuals who contribute positively to their families, communities, and the nation

Al-Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah also prayed for the people of Pahang to be blessed with good health, protection, strong faith, and unity in facing present and future challenges.

"Let us make this new Hijrah year a platform to strengthen Islamic brotherhood, seek knowledge, and uphold noble values in our daily lives," the post read. - Bernama
