Boy shares devotion with musical flair

A 15-year-old local boy wrote, sang and released an album of devotional songs dedicated to Sathya Sai Baba, Makkal Osai reported.

Sai Harendran has been a follower of the Indian spiritual lea­der, guru, and philanthropist.

The songs and their music videos were officially released on Saturday.

 

> The daily also reported that twelve Indian students from B40 families received financial assistance for their tertiary education from the Penang Hindu Endowments Board (PHEB).

PHEB deputy chairman Senator Dr RA Lingeshwaran said the board is ready to assist students pursuing bachelor’s degree, diploma and skills certificates courses.
