SHAH ALAM: The policeman accused of murdering a Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris student, whose body was found in an oil palm plantation last year, has pleaded not guilty.

L/Kpl Muhammad Alif Monjani, 27, allegedly murdered Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah (pic), 25, at the SK (C) Kledang oil palm plantation in Hulu Bernam near here between 9am on July 10, 2024, and 6pm on July 15, 2024.

He claimed trial to the murder charge in the High Court here before Justice Julia Ibrahim, who then set July 15 for mention, Bernama reported.

On May 28, the case was transferred to the Shah Alam High Court for trial.

Nur Farah Kartini was reported missing on July 10, 2024. Her body was found five days later in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sri Keledang, Hulu Bernam.
