Motorist seriously injured in fall off NSE hill


PETALING JAYA: A motorist was seriously injured after falling off a hill along the North-South Expressway (NSE).

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (Operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said the accident occurred at KM431.6.

A team from the Bukit Sentosa fire station responded to the distress call at 8.37am on Monday (June 2).

"The victim, aged in his 30s, fell off the hillside after losing control of his motorcycle. He suffered serious injuries and was treated by medical officers at the scene," he said.

The fall is believed to have been around 35 feet deep.

"The victim was sent to the hospital at around 9.07am," he said.
