Actor Fattah denies wedding speculation from fans

ACTOR Fattah Amin (pic) has denied talk that he will be tying the knot with singer Amira Othman on May 25, Harian Metro reported.

Fattah, 34, clarified that no such date has ever been discussed and believed the speculation could have stemmed from fans who were fond of the date.

“I’ve noticed people mentioning May 25 as the date, but honestly, there has never been any discussion about a wedding date set between me and Amira.

“Maybe fans just want to see their favourite celebrities happy and moving on to the next phase in life. But for now, our relationship is nothing more than that of colleagues,” he said at the Unifi TV Lagi Best Carnival at Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, on Saturday.

Asked about a recent gathering with Amira’s family in Singapore, Fattah explained that it was purely coincidental.

> Irfan Wafiy Idham Wazir, 18, a victim of Pasir Gudang’s Sungai Kim Kim toxic waste pollution tragedy, recently achieved outstanding results in the SPM examination, scoring 9As.

Irfan is suffering from Myokymia, a neurological condition, for the past six years and that has limited his mobility, Berita Harian reported.

He also experienced persistent pain in both legs when engaging in prolonged activities.

However, he is determined to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor in the field of neuroscience.

“I’ve had a passion for medicine since I was young. After being directly affected by the river pollution incident and experiencing its impact on my health, I’ve become even more interested in the medical field,” he said.
