4WD driver jailed for highway hit-and-run


KUALA LUMPUR: A 32-year-old man who drove a 4WD vehicle and knocked over a couple on a motorcycle has been sentenced to 30 days in jail and fined RM12,000 by the Magistrate’s Court.

Magistrate Khairunnisak Hassni sentenced K. Darmaraju after he pleaded guilty to dangerous driving on the North-South Expressway towards the city centre, just before the Duta toll, at 2.30pm on May 10.
