Motorcyclist dies after hitting stalled car near Kuala Pilah


KUALA PILAH: A 31-year-old motorcyclist was killed after he crashed into the rear of a car that had broken down and was parked on the road shoulder.

OCPD Supt Muhamad Mustafah Hussin said the crash happened at 12.40pm on Tuesday (May 13) along KM21 of the Seremban-Kuala Pilah road.

He said the victim, who worked as a cleaner, died on the spot.

"Preliminary investigation found that the 33-year-old car driver was heading towards Kuala Pilah when his vehicle broke down.

"He pulled over along the road shoulder and the crash happened about 10 minutes later," he said in a statement.

The case is being investigated under section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
