'It's not Pamela Ling', cops say of woman found dead after being thrown from van on Kesas Highway


KUALA LUMPUR: A woman died after she was allegedly thrown out of a van along the Kesas Highway on Tuesday (May 6).

In a statement Tuesday, Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Aidil Bolhassan said that a witness told police that the victim was seen thrown out of a van at around 2.30pm Tuesday near the Awan Besar RnR complex along the Kesas Highway.

He added that the van was also seen speeding off.

“The victim was found dead at the scene and her death has been confirmed by the responding medical officer.

“The victim is a 44-year-old woman from Ipoh, Perak. I can confirm that she is not the missing ‘Pamela Ling',” ACP Aidil said.

A post mortem will be conducted, he added.
