Blaze engulfs vehicle workshop in Puchong


KUALA LUMPUR: A vehicle workshop in Bandar Puchong Jaya burst into flames on Sunday morning (May 4), with smoke visible from kilometres away.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the distress call was received at about 10.56am.

"More than 13 firemen from four fire stations were dispatched to the scene.

"The workshop was 70% destroyed," he said in a statement on Sunday.

He added that no one was hurt during the incident, and firemen are still putting out the fire.
