Actor Lee on an unlucky streak since landing in M’sia

ACTOR Lee Lee-zen (pic) suddenly experienced a string of bad luck upon arriving in Malaysia to film his movie, reported Sin Chew Daily.

The 51-year-old Taiwanese star arrived in the country on April 22, but was detained by Customs at the airport for two hours due to visa issues.

The next morning, he was shocked to find that a tooth had fallen out and required immediate dental attention.

The actor posted a photo of himself on a dentist’s chair with the caption: “I can now continue to work!”

Malaysian film producer Jin Ong, believing Lee was experiencing bad luck, took him to the Thean Hou temple to pray for better fortune.

“I pray to the goddess that my work in Malaysia will go smoothly and that I will remain safe!” he said online.

It was reported that Lee will be working with award-winning Taiwanese filmmaker Tang Hsiang-chu on the upcoming movie Sayang.

Scenes are expected to be filmed in Terengganu and Kelantan.

> An actress in China learned a painful lesson about baby feet, the daily also reported.

Wu Yuehan, 34, had uploaded a video of herself playfully sniffing and rubbing her baby’s feet on her face. She appeared to be having fun with the infant.

However, the next day the right side of her face became swollen due to conjunctivitis, leaving her unable to open her eyes.

“No one told me a baby’s foot could be poisonous!” an irate Wu said.

Internet users likened her appearance to that of a bee sting, and many gave her their sympathies.

One user commented, “I couldn’t help sniffing my baby’s feet either. They smell so nice.”

A doctor cautioned parents about the potential for bacterial growth on babies’ sweaty feet.
