Actor to be called up for allegedly assaulting girlfriend, say cops

SHAH ALAM: A male actor who had allegedly assaulted his girlfriend will be called up by police soon.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said a report on the incident had been filed by the victim on April 7, where she claimed to have been hit in the face.

"Investigations showed that the victim had also filed a similar report last year involving the same suspect, but that had been retracted by her," he said at a press conference at the state police headquarters on Wednesday (April 23) here.

Previously, Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Shahrulnizam Ja'afar confirmed that a report was filed at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail police station on April 20.
