Celebrating Hari Raya together reflects Malaysia's unique harmony, says Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: The togetherness of Malaysians, especially during festive season, was highlighted by Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong while attending a Hari Raya open house.

The MCA president attended the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration hosted by Deputy Prime Minister II Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof in Putrajaya on Thursday (April 10).

"Malaysians from all walks of life, along with ambassadors and foreign government representatives, came together to celebrate Aidilfitri in a spirit of unity and gratitude.

"The tradition of open houses and visiting one another during festive seasons reflects Malaysia’s unique harmony, something which is truly special and rarely seen elsewhere in the world," he said on Facebook.

The event was made even more special by the presence of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
