PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has attended the DAP’s national congress for the first time in his capacity as Prime Minister.

Anwar, who is also the Pakatan Harapan coalition chairman, of which DAP is a part, arrived at the Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC) in Shah Alam wearing a white shirt, matching the DAP members' signature white attire.

Anwar's presence was met with significant applause when his name was mentioned by DAP national chairman Lim Guan Eng during his opening speech on Sunday (March 16).

Anwar, who is also the PKR president, was joined by fellow coalition party leader Amanah president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu at the congress.
