Two killed in a car accident in Kuala Kurau


IPOH: Two people died in an accident involving two cars on Jalan Pantai, Batu Piandang in Kuala Kurau.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said the victims, believed to be a married couple aged 59 and 66, died on the spot.

Another child in the same car suffered injuries in the incident at 7.30am on Wednesday (March 5).

"The driver of the other vehicle was unharmed. The injured child, aged 13, has been sent to the hospital by ambulance," he said in a statement.
