Man arrested for threatening woman with parang at political party meeting


KUALA SELANGOR: A 45-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly threatening a woman during a Kuala Selangor PKR meeting.

"He was arrested at 4.15pm on Tuesday (March 4) in Kuala Selangor. Investigations are underway to determine any links to gangs," said Kuala Selangor OCPD Supt Azaharudin Tajudin.

The victim had lodged a report on March 1, claiming the suspect had brandished a parang at her.
