ACP Patit said the stabbing resulted in severe bleeding and the forensic experts confirmed that the cause of death was a ‘stab wound to the aorta’.

He said the victim was a resident of Taman Sri Aman, Masjid Tanah in Alor Gajah, here.

On Feb 23, it was reported that the victim was allegedly murdered, in a bedroom of a terrace house.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the motive behind the murder was jealousy, as the suspect shared the same room with the victim.
